Every year countless numbers of dogs are euthanized in dog pounds. If dog owners took more time to think before purchasing a dog and took the responsibility they should for their dogs, there would be no need for dog pounds. In this imperfect world, this is not the case and dog pounds are over flowing with strays picked up or dogs turned in by owners who no longer wished to care for their dog for one reason or the other. The dogs and puppies listed on this page are in need of immediate rescue!
Kyleewood Kennels urges dog owners to spay and neuter their pets for their safety, health and to prevent unwanted litters. Please THINK before you adopt or buy a pet. Most purebreds are NOT of breeding quality and most people do not understand the repercussions of producing and selling puppies without a lifetime commitment to those puppies. The American Kennel Club offers FREE information to anyone desiring to learn more about pure bred dogs and how to find a RESPONSIBLE BREEDER. You can find more information at www.akc.org.
