No - kill shelters give the animals they house more time to find homes. My wish for the dogs on this site is that you choose to give them homes or even foster homes before the short time they have to live is up. This site is a resource. WE do not house rescue dogs ourselves, but list dogs and puppies available at other dog pounds or shelters.
